Radio Castoria Statement on Sensitive Issue

MEDIA ADVISORY

The Castorian Broadcasting Corporation has, throughout its history, been very open and transparent about its use of "safe words" to ensure that senior management always feels comfortable during intercourse with creative artists.

Though the corporation values its public reputation for dignity and poise, the CBC's interactions with staff have meant, from time to time, engaging in risky behaviour and rough human resources practices.

CBC considers this to be the private sector part of its operations.

The corporation insists that this activity has always been undertaken with the agreement of its employees whether reached through mediation or arbitration, and it states unequivocally that it has never abused its employees without their presumed consent.

The CBC does not propose to speak further on this issue as it is now a matter of legal proceedings initiated by a jilted ex-employee and a freelance lawyer.
